  • Batiks are hand-dyed fabrics usually using a wax-resist technique to create various patterns.

    Batiks have a natural variation in color, sort of like a patins, and give the quilts a more unique and one-of-kind look.

  • Yes. All quilts are pre-washed and lint-rolled before shipping.

  • Crinkling is the texture that arises through washing and drying (machine or line drying) your quilt. The cotton shrinks underneath the top-stitching and creates this texture. The more you wash and dry the quilt, the more crinkling it may have. It makes the quilt softer and more cozy.

  • Depending on the amount of orders I have, quilts will be shipped out in 3-5 business days. View shipping policy here

  • With proper care these quilts can last many many many years. View the Quilt Care guidelines here

  • Cotton shrinks. During the drying process some quilts may shrink unevenly. Don't worry though! It's virtually unnoticeable and adds to the handmade and one-of-a-kind element of each quilt.

  • Long-arm quilting is the process of sewing all three quilt layers together usually using some sort of pattern across it's entirety. I get all my quilts professionally long-arm quilted in Reno, Nevada unless otherwise stated.

  • Damage Policy: If the product is damaged during transit please contact the store with photographic proof. I will be able to tell if the product was damaged by the carrier or by the user, or in the most unlikely case, an oversite by me.

    It is up to my discretion to offer a replacement, refund, or repair. Returns or refunds are not permitted if damage was caused by the buyer. Please see the Quilt Care page on the website and/or the physical copy included with all quilts for details on how to maintain and care for your quilt properly. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for damage incurred through improper care of the quilt.
